BiographyLan is a clinical psychologist who enjoys working with a diverse range of adult clients. He employs a compassionate person-centred approach in assisting clients to achieve their goals through evidence-based interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.
Lan has particular interests in pain as well as in working with couples. He has previously conducted research on pain and the placebo effect, and he enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting for persistent pain to best enhance client's quality of life. He has also completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy from the Gottman Institute and thrives when seeing couples resolve conflicts to enhance their lives.
